#45 Sister Incinerator

The world ended on a Tuesday. By Wednesday, Sister Mary Catherine had traded her rosary for a flamethrower. The Vatican had fallen, the Pope was missing (possibly undead), and the Holy See had officially declared, “Every nun for herself.” With nothing but faith in her heart and an arsenal in her hands, Sister Mary took her vows to the next level. If the Lord wanted His enemies smitten, she would smite them—with fire.
The plague of the damned had spread faster than a church potluck rumor. One minute, it was all “Oh, it’s just the flu”, and the next, entire congregations were gnawing on their priests. The church bells tolled their last, replaced by the guttural moans of the resurrected. But Sister Mary had a plan. Clad in her traditional habit and wielding a machine gun modified to shoot napalm, she became the last line of defense between the faithful and the flesh-hungry horde.
The zombies weren’t just your average mindless undead. No, they were Catholic zombies—ravenous, guilt-ridden, and disturbingly fast during Lent. Some still tried to confess their sins between bites, while others clung to old habits, attempting to collect tithes before attacking. But Sister Mary had no time for absolution. She lit them up like votive candles, turning each sinner into a blazing tribute to divine justice. The meek shall inherit the Earth? Not today.
By the time she reached the ruins of St. Peter’s Basilica, her legend had spread across the wasteland. Survivors whispered of Sister Incinerator, the holy warrior with a fiery wrath. She had become both a savior and a terror, dispensing salvation one flamethrower burst at a time. The undead avoided her, recognizing the glint in her eye—the kind of conviction that didn’t waver, even in the face of hell itself.
But Sister Mary knew the battle was far from over. She adjusted her grip on her weapon and turned toward the next town, where a new wave of the damned awaited their cleansing. With a smirk, she murmured a quick prayer and pulled the trigger. The flames roared, the zombies screeched, and Sister Incinerator continued her righteous crusade. Amen, and burn.
